Inspiration for "Hack the Norm":

  • The theme of this year’s hackathon—“Hack the Norm”—was developed by our very own students from the Computer Society’s Hackathon Team within the BYU-Idaho CSE Department. This student-led initiative reflects a commitment to pushing boundaries, rethinking assumptions, and exploring bold, unconventional ideas. 
  • “Hack the Norm” is more than a theme—it’s a mindset. It represents the belief that breakthroughs come from those willing to question the ordinary, experiment bravely, and work together to shape a better future.
